CHANG’AN, Dongguan—The “Hundred Schools, Thousand Talents” and “Wings Program” college student exchange was recently held on the 23A floor of the Talent Service Center (Zhihui Tower) in Chang’an Town. Jointly organized by the town’s Talent Service Center, Party Building and Human Resources Office and other departments, the event aimed to provide a platform for college students and support interns in “getting to know Chang’an, staying in Chang’an, and contributing to Chang’an.”
Dongguan Guixiang actively responded to the organisers’ invitation, carefully selecting intern representatives and arriving 30 minutes early to prepare. The event officially commenced at 3 p.m. with the host’s opening remarks.

First to speak were outstanding student representatives from Nanchang University, the Communication University of Zhejiang, and other institutions. They shared their internship experiences and the growth they achieved while working at enterprises in Chang’an.Next, Gu Ying, member of the Party Committee of Chang’an Town, presented an overview of the town’s economic development, talent policy advantages, and future planning. Through detailed data and clear strategies, he helped the students quickly gain a deeper understanding of Chang’an. In addition, he encouraged young talents to seize the opportunities offered by the construction of a “Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Town” and to pursue mutual empowerment of personal growth and regional progress through industry-university-research collaboration.

Game time followed. In “Treasure of the Caribbean”, Guixiang interns worked in perfect sync, matching items with precision and showcasing a spirit of efficient teamwork. In “Know by Heart”, they drew on solid professional knowledge to complete the challenge with ease.In “Chopsticks Relay”, their steady and orderly moves reflected the rigorous training of manufacturing practice. Beyond the fun, the games highlighted Guixiang’s defining traits: pragmatism and professionalism.

After the games, the interns proceeded to the exhibition area, where products developed by Chang’an-based companies were on full display. At the Guixiang booth, core thermal-management products for new-energy vehicles—such as FPCs, heating films and liquid cold plates—took center stage. On the company’s display wall, the “Top 100 Private Enterprises” plaque stood out prominently. As a leading local enterprise in Chang’an, Guixiang not only drives regional economic growth but also continues to create substantial employment opportunities.

During the coffee break, Guixiang interns exchanged their R&D experiences with fellow students from across the country and gained deeper insights into Chang’an industrial policies. They also spoke with Luo Wanqiu, Deputy Director of the Talent Office of Chang’an Town, sharing their learning from the event and reflections on daily life. Luo commended Guixiang’s achievements and praised the interns’ all-round qualities, encouraging them to keep growing through practice.

Through this activity, Dongguan Guixiang embodied its talent development philosophy: “empower young talent, connect them to local growth”. By offering an open platform for interns, the company enables them to expand their horizons, deepen their sense of belonging in Chang’an, and actively support the town’s “talent-driven development” strategy. Together, these efforts encourage more young professionals to establish themselves locally and contribute to local industrial growth.
